2025 was a year of growth for Newtons Solicitors, in terms of revenue, refurbishing our current offices and expanding our team. Hear from our CEO, Chris Newton, about our progress in 2025 and our projections for 2026.
Newtons Solicitors 2025 Recap: Transcript
It’s been a good year for us. In terms of revenue, we cleared £7 million for the first time, which was a good feeling.
We’ve recruited new solicitors in employment law, litigation, private client, wills and probate, and three new solicitors in the family law team. It’s a big investment for us, but all of them are now performing really well. They’ve built up their caseloads nicely, and in fact, you look back and think, well, how would we have coped if we hadn’t recruited them?
We’ve done a lot of refurbishment work to our offices in Knaresborough and Darlington, which has been a lot of disruption for the team, but the offices are looking great. We’ve purchased our new office in York, next door to the existing office. Going into ‘26, we’ve already seen our first new recruit in criminal law, and we’ll hopefully get a new company commercial solicitor very shortly.
The big project for this year will be the Harrogate office, which I’m meeting the architect about tomorrow, and we’ll hopefully start the build on that in March. That’ll be a massive project, but a very exciting one. So, let’s see what ‘26 brings.
