Kate Watson - Solicitor
Kate is a Solicitor based at our Knaresborough office.
Kate has been a key member of the team at Newtons since 2021, well-liked by clients and colleagues. Her can-do attitude meant that upon qualification as a solicitor in March 2026 she immediately started gathering her own client following, working across our Company Commercial and Commercial Property teams, on matters including:
- Sale and purchase of businesses
- Shareholder agreements
- Partnership agreements including farming partnerships
- Commercial agreements
- Company incorporations including resident management companies
- Company restorations
- Sale and purchase of commercial property
- Agricultural sales and purchases
- Commercial mortgages
- Acting for landlords and tenants on full range of matters
- Employment Advice including Settlement Agreements and TUPE
Kate also acts in a number of residential property transactions including:
- Sales, purchases and transfer of ownership of freehold and leasehold property
- Advising clients on the process of Right to First Refusal
- Re-mortgages
