Mark Jones - Senior Solicitor

Mark is a Senior Solicitor and Director based at the Ripon and Harrogate offices.

Mark has over 30 years of experience of private client law, assisting many families and individuals throughout the generations. After qualifying in York, he has spent most of the last 25 years as a partner in two of Harrogate’s leading law firms and has also had spells as a partner and director in city centre firms in York and Leeds. He has acted for families for more than 20 years, getting to know each generation and maintains strong connections with clients and professionals in Harrogate and Ripon and throughout North and West Yorkshire.

Mark believes strongly that the role of a law firm is to bring clients peace of mind by guiding them with clear, plain English advice.

Mark is one of the longest serving members of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society and also serves as a committee  member of Harrogate and District Law Society. He has often acted as a trustee of trusts created by his clients and others, as a professional executor and as an attorney or deputy for vulnerable clients
