Will Blenkinsopp - Solicitor

Will is a solicitor working in our corporate and commercial team.

Will has recently returned to Yorkshire after training and qualifying as a solicitor at a Legal 500 firm in Nottingham.

Throughout his training contract, and since qualifying in September 2023, Will has been fortunate to gain experience working for a broad range of clients, dealing with various corporate and commercial matters, including the sale and purchase of businesses and shares (from small transfers right through to multimillion pound deals); drafting, reviewing, and advising on complex commercial agreements; and high value joint venture investments.

Will’s work includes:

• Advising on due diligence and disclosure in sale/purchase transactions;
• Preparing and advising on ancillary documents in sale/purchase transactions;
• Dealing with Companies House filings;
• Updating Statutory Registers and/or advising on required updates;
• Reviewing/advising on commercial agreements;
• Dealing with company incorporations (including drafting and advising on bespoke Articles of Association);
• Assisting in relation to company/business structure, including Partnership Agreements and Shareholders Agreements; and
• Assisting with the set-up and implementation of EMI share schemes.

Having also gained experience in employment law, Will is also able to advise on settlement agreements.
